Science in the Pub  

PIC’s popular Science in the Pub sessions allow a broad range of stakeholders in the Ontario poultry industry to gather in an informal and lively atmosphere to discuss, debate and share different perspectives on timely topics and issues affecting the poultry industry.  Come out and share your perspective on issues that affects us all.

Our Sold Out winter session of Science in the Pub took place on  January 22nd at the Shakespeare Arms in Guelph, ON.  A big thank you goes out to our guest speaker, Bill Van Heyst a Professor in Environmental Engineering at the University of Guelph who specializes impact of agriculture on air quality – particularly poultry production.  Our topic  ‘Poultry Production & the Environment: Can management strategies offset our carbon footprint?‘ stimulated allot of great discussion.

The Poultry Industry Council invites you to join us for good food, drink and discussion for our next session scheduled for  September 24, 2018 in Guelph.  Look for details mid summer.  Food is included, cash bar available!
