The Poultry Industry Council (PIC) is a non-profit corporation recognized by Revenue Canada as having charitable status. PIC was officially formed in 1997, the result of a merger between the Ontario Poultry Council and the Poultry Industry Centre. The PIC's primary activities include encouraging and financing research and education for the benefit of the poultry industry in Ontario. This is made possible through the efforts of a twelve person volunteer Board representing both producers and the poultry industry.
