Highlights from our Last Science in the Pub
September 25th, 2023
The Shakespeare Arms in Guelph treated us to a delightful spread of wings, veggies, and cookies to cap off the Monday evening. The debate on sustainability in the poultry sector was served up hot, thanks to our fantastic speakers and engaged attendees! Conversations delved into the vast landscape of sustainability, exploring angles not commonly considered, such as the importance of the human element and technology.
Science in the Pub is all about fostering an environment where participants can share their experiences and ideas. It's an opportunity to learn from colleagues, ask long-standing questions, and broaden perspectives!
A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, Christoph Wand, and Al Dam from OMAFRA, for sharing their knowledge and insights. Most importantly, we extend our gratitude to our participants for their lively conversations and willingness to engage in the debate.
