PIC's Fundraiser Golf Tournament ~ September 7, 2022.

Don't forget to hold the date for next year's tournament on September 6th, 2023!

The 2022 Poultry Industry Council’s (PIC) annual charity golf tournament couldn’t have happened on a more perfect day. 170 golfers had a great time at Foxwood Golf Club in Baden, Ont.  We had a record amount of producers at the tournament where everyone had a great day of golf while seeing friends and industry representatives.

There were many memorable moments of the day, with Happy Gilmore shots as well as lots of contest winners. The banquet revealed a surprise presentation of the Ed McKinlay Poultry Award to recipient Charlie Elliott of Masterfeeds.

PIC would like to give a special shout-out to Orrie Alexander of CreekBank Farms who was the golfer to beat for the day winning the Longest Drive

The Best Team Award went to the group from MaxOn and Schiedle View Farms, David Collins, Mike Schiedel, Mike Schiedel Jr. and James Schiedel, who turned in an incredible score of 13 under par.

Contest winners and photo highlights can be found below.

The day was made possible by numerous sponsors, volunteers from the sector, the golf course and PIC staff.  Funds raised during the event directly support PIC’s delivery of educational programs and training.

If you would like to share any of your memorable moments, please send your pictures to pic@poultryindustrycouncil.ca.
