We all know what good on-farm biosecurity programs are about:
  1. washing your hands
  2. wearing barn specific clothes
  3. keeping good records

But how good are we at preventing contamination by practicing biosecurity?

To assess the effectiveness of on-farm biosecurity practices GloGerm™ was used to simulate disease spread & contamination at the Arkell Poultry Research Station in Guelph Ontario. This allowed us to observe how well project volunteers were able to contain the “spread of disease”.
