Science in the Pub on Jan 25, 2018 – Registration open

Our 2018 winter Science in the Pub session will take place on Monday, January 22nd at the Shakespeare Arms in Guelph, ON. The topic of our first session of 2018 is ‘Poultry Production & the Environment: Can management strategies offset our carbon footprint?‘ Our guest speaker, Bill Van Heyst, will be discussing poultry facility emissions, the impact they have on the environment (in comparison to other livestock species) and what poultry producers can do to control their gas and particulate emissions to improve air quality.
